CURRICULUM RATIONALE
“When a school has a rationale for its curriculum, it means that everyone involved with the school can answer the question ‘What do we want for our children and how will we work together to achieve this?’” Education Scotland.
Our Curriculum Rationale has been developed to outline our vision, values and aims and to ensure that everyone in our school community knows what we want for our children and how we will work together to achieve it. We want children at St Andrews to develop across all aspect of the Wellbeing Wheel, as well as develop skills for learning, life and work so that they can become Successful Learners, Effective Contributors, Confident Individuals and Responsible Citizens.
